About

As a company we have set our sights at achieving $10M ARR in 2020. Originally founded in San Francisco in 2011, Travis and I have self funded Justuno through our first $100,000 ARR, $1M ARR, $5M ARR and now have our course set for the pinnacle in our SaaS industry of achieving $10M ARR.

Why this blog, why now and who is this blog is for…

Our team: With a growing team we recognized a communication and culture gap beginning to form. My goal is to help align the focus and goals of the company around the key pillars that got us to this point and will carry us through our next big challenge; Product, Customer Service and the Self Funded culture.

Our customers: Understanding what separates us from our competitors and why we are the partner for their business is important. We are a self funded, founder driven company that places product and customer service first. Travis and I are also former online retailers ourselves which is incredibly valuable. In retail customer service is everything and we have worked very hard to carry that sense of importance over to the SaaS world. Being a product driven company as well requires constant customer feedback to build the best product for their needs, along with having founders driving product innovation, this allows for our company to lead the technology revolution.

PE, Venture and Corporate Development/Acquisition: Thank you for your emails and inquiries about Justuno. The information found in this blog is tailored to help your associates understand our business model, current trajectory and answer initial inquiry questions you may have up front.

How can you help on our path to $10M ARR? There is a good chance that Justuno currently integrates with one or several of your current Martech portfolio companies (Shopify, Klayvio…). Introductions to leadership is always appreciated to help further these relationships, along with any new partners or customers.

In summary. We are working to achieve something very few SaaS companies in our space have successfully done. A self funded $10M ARR SaaS company. Part of our success is respecting ROI, Sustainable growth and a relentless drive to succeed. The other side is focussing on our product and customer experience.

The challenge for leadership has evolved as well, part of which is my role as CEO. Two blog post recently inspired me to spend time both looking inward at my business, as well as outward. David Darmanin of Hotjar Podcast discussing the importance of focussing on the Pillars of business and NPS scores and Jason Lemkin of Saasr discussing the 50 + 20 rule.

Thank you,
Erik
